Today we tried out Shrinkles. I got a box of these for the girls as an Eid gift. They coloured the whole lot, then we watched them curl and flatten in the oven, until they came out shrunk and hardened up.
Does anyone else remember shrinking crisp (chip) packets in the oven when they were younger? I wonder whether the packets are made of the same materials now - or would I end up coating the oven tray with a sticky mess?

yes, i think I did that with the crisp packets! it's strange how memories lay about in our minds, to be triggered years later. Crisp packets are different now though, probably need to find some Asian imported sweets packets for same material
