Today the boys had an outing with H and the girls had an outing with me. This is partly because the boys are no longer interested at all in the kinds of colouring crafts laid on at family event days. The girls loved it, alhamdulillah. Above you can see tigers lurking in a forest, (Oh, do at least try!). They made three other items besides this!Plus we went for an explore around the gardens and displays. Such beautiful flowers, maashAllah!
And this evening the boys and H are out again, taking their last chance at outdoor evening sports before Ramadan is with us, inshAllah.

Funny you mention the differences you are finding now between the boys interests and the girls, masha Allah. My mother and I were just discussing this yesterday. We are also observing my son growing less interested in paper crafts (not that he was ever really excited about them) and more interested in boyish type activities. My husband also takes my son in the evenings to play frisbee golf and for the most part the girls aren't interested. If they do go, they are mostly in the dirt, lol. Anyway, it does make life a bit more difficult as I have 5 girls and only 1 boy and Allahu alim.
